A Screenplay for an arty-short-film. 

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy lies in bed, his mind heavy with
               thoughts. 

                                                       CUT TO

               EXT. SCHOOL - DAY

               It's Autumn; The Sixteen-Year Old Boy walks along with
               some of his buddies. They eventually pass a group of
               girls, chatting. The Seventeen-Year Old Girl catches The
               Sixteen-Year Old Boy's eye, and vice versa; they share a
               look.

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               A Sixteen-Year Old Boy lies in his bed, looking up at the
               roof. He is smiling.

                                                       CUT TO

               EXT. STREET - EVENING

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy and the Seventeen-Year Old Girl
               is kissing. It's winter, and lots of snow. The couple are
               wearing winter's clothes. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy is relaxed, hands behind his
               head. He has a big grin, and he is quite happy.

               EXT. PARK - DAY

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy and the Seventeen-Year Old Girl
               walks, hand in hand down the park. Spring is in the air. 

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy is not in his bed. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy and the Seventeen-Year Old Girl
               lies on the couch, kissing. 

                                                       CUT TO 

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen Year-Old Boy is lying in his bed, talking on
               the phone. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. CAR - NIGHT

               The Seventeen-Year Old Girl is driving her car, headphones
               on while she talks to her boyfriend, The Sixteen-Year Old
               Boy. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy lies in his bed, on top of the
               covers; he's talking on the phone, then hangs up. He is
               fully dressed. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. STAIRWELL - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy runs down the stairs.

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. STREET - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy rides a bicycle down the street. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

               The Seventeen-Year Old Girl lies on the couch, The
               Sixteen-Year Old Boy lies on a madras on the floor.
               They're holding hands. 

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen Year Old Boy and the Seventeen-Year Old Girl
               lies in the bed.  

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               POV: The door into the room. It's closed. 

               We can hear muffled moans and rocking of a bed. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy is alone in his bed. No phone, no
               girl, nothing but a sad look on his face. 

                                                       CUT TO

               EXT. PARK - EVENING

               It's late summer. The Seventeen-Year Old Girl sits at a
               bench with another boy, the NEW BOYFRIEND. They're holding
               hands. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy is crying under the covers. 

               INT. KITCHEN - NOON

               The Seventeen-Year Old Girl is sitting on a chair,
               opposite the Sixteen-Year Old Boy. They're both holding a
               cup of coffee. They both look sad; the boy has been
               crying, the girl looks sad and comforting. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy is sleeping; a vert sweet dream
               it seems. Then he wakes up, and reality catches up with
               him. One again, a sad look on his face as he once again
               tries to go to sleep. 

                                                       CUT TO

               EXT. THE SIXTEEN-YEAR OLD BOY'S HOUSE - NIGHT

               Autumn. A car pulls up in the driveway, and the
               Seventeen-Year Old Girl comes out of it. She's been
               crying.

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. KITCHEN - EVENING

               The Seventeen-Year Old Girl is cooking; her new boyfriend,
               the one on the bench comes into the room. 

                                   NEW BOYFRIEND
                         It's time. Come on. 
               A small hulk passes through The Seventeen-Year Old Girl's
               lips; she drops everything she's doing. Her new boyfriend
               pulls her by the hair into another room; we can hear
               beatings, screams and crying. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. HALL OF THE SIXTEEN-YEAR OLD BOY'S HOUSE - NIGHT

               POV: The Door. 

               The doorbell rings; we can hear The Sixteen-Year Old Boy
               running down the stairs, opening the door. 

               As soon as he opens the door, The Seventeen-Year Old Girl
               throws herself in his arms, crying. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. KITCHEN OF THE SIXTEEN-YEAR OLD BOY'S HOUSE - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy and the Seventeen-Year Old Girl
               have a cup of coffee; the Seventeen-Year Old Girl tells
               the boy everything. They hold hands. 

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. LIVING ROOM - THE SIXTEEN-YEAR OLD BOY'S HOUSE -
               NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy is talking on the phone. We can
               see the kitchen from here, where the Seventeen-Year Old
               Girl is twiddling with her coffee cup, smiling weakly
               while sharing a look with the Sixteen-Year Old Boy. 

                                                       CUT TO

               EXT. THE NEW BOYFRIEND'S HOUSE - NIGHT

               A Police Car drives up on the driveway. Still autumn.

                                                       CUT TO

               INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

               The Sixteen-Year Old Boy and the Seventeen-Year Old Girl
               lies in the bed. They both have a sad smile over their
               faces. 

               LEGEND: Wishful Thinking...

                                                       SLOW FADE OUT

               The LEGEND is moved upwards, as we fade out slowly. 

               A QUESTION MARK appears under the previous LEGEND. 

               THE END
