Comic: D.E.A.T.H.

Copyright Disclaimer: All of these characters belong to Marvel. The story about D.E.A.T.H. and eventual new characters are all me. I'm just playing around with all of this. And I can tell you: It's fun!

Yes. Here follows the first part of the story about D.E.A.T.H, the newest idea for a comic book such as Civil War and Internal Crisis, which both I have left to read. But enough about that.

D.E.A.T.H tells the story of a murderer that kills every hero or villian that moves in the Marvel Universe. That is, the ones that are left after the events of A Plan of Evil, also by me. I'll tell you about those extremely briefly; it was another idea I had today, and D.E.A.T.H is the continuation of A Plan of Evil.

A Plan of Evil

A Plan of Evil is about Loki's big great plan about killing off all the villains that are big, dumb and hell-bent on killing their nemesises. With him on his plan is Red Skull and Ultron. In the end, the heroes of The Avengers and many more turn on Loki, Red Skull and Ultron, because they do not care about the million of human lives that are losts in the huge battles. Now, this doesn't seem as an evil plan to you? I get that. "But it's more to come. Remember this, always and forever", says Loki in the end when he and his friends are put behind bars. And it's way more to come!

D.E.A.T.H

D.E.A.T.H stands for Defeat Essex Abstract Telekinetic Heroes, which basically means that the organization is set out to destroy all kinds of heroes, from Spider-Man and to the Eternals. Essex (Factor) was discovered by Doctor Nathaniel Essex, the Essex Factor is used to describe those individuals who have an active gene in their DNA, which is related to having the potential for superhuman abilities. Abstract (Entry) is an identity for those cosmic beings that extend beyond normal alien and human life, often taking the characteristics of a single concept. Such beings include Eternity, Lord Chaos, and Master Order. The rest kinda explains itself! (Info from the Marvel Universe site. LINK!)

The series begins with the death of Captain America (Baron Zemo II killed him, his orders came from D.E.A.T.H.) Most of the superheroes and mutants from the Marvel Universe gather at the Wake, and even more gathers at the funeral. After the funeral we see the last days of Captain America, through his eyes. At the same time, Iron Man aka Tony Stark is being killed. However, no one in the story knows this except the killer. Iron Man is featured long into the series. An agent from D.E.A.T.H has taken over his identity. He also looks exactly like Tony Stark, so that the readers shall be unsure of his death.

We follow the Heroes and the Villains of the Marvel Universe, both sides investigating these mysterious murders of Super Heroes. It’s quickly revealed that the Villains had a great and big plan of fighting together, and thus destroying all the heroes in the entire universe, which they then finally would rule. But with Captain America’s death, their plan goes right out the window. They instead band together to find the killer, so that they again can join forces with the mysterious killer and take over the universe.

The Heroes, on the other hand, investigates the murder to really find out what this is all about. And as more and more character dies, they’re running out of time.

In the 10th issue, they stand exactly where they begun. Nothing is achieved, yet more mutants and heroes are dying. We are following the heroes and the villains, and they’re no closer than the other. But now, one of the main villains of the group, M.O.D.O.K. gets brutally murdered. It seems the murderer not only wants the heroes: He wants the Villains as well!

This is the big reveal in the 10th issue. And thus, we can get really into the story!

In the 11th issue, the Villains and Heroes gain forces to track down the killer. Hell, some of them even bond, becoming good friends! But as more and more die (In the 11th issue, 2 Heroes and 4 Villains gets murdered), this mystery needs and ending. And then, the next big reveal: The last panel in the 11th issue is of Iron Man, brutally murdering The Hulk, while Loki opens the door along with Thor.

Then we’re off to the 12th issue. This is where things REALLY begin to happen. Thor and Loki manage to capture Iron Man in the act of killing The Hulk, though they are to late to save him. After Thor beats the hell out of Iron Man with his hammer, Loki carries him to a holding cell. Then they contact Professor X. Professor X starts searching the mind of “Tony Stark”, now finally revealed to be working for D.E.A.T.H. and that tiny fact that he isn’t Tony Stark or Iron Man at all! This is the first issue in which we learn about D.E.A.T.H, and it’s also revealed that the agent impersonating Tony Stark didn’t kill Captain America. Professor X tries to access more memories about D.E.A.T.H, but fails when this trips a wire which leads to the False Tony Stark’s death from a melted brain. After this, Professor X calls everyone for an extraordinary meeting; they have had a breakthrough. All the heroes and villains gather, and Professor X speaks. He says there’s been a breakthrough in the case. He says that we’re up to a more powerful enemy than ever: D.E.A.T.H. From what Professor X found out, it’s a powerful organization that’s killed off every Villain and Hero so far. And they obviously have a plan!

All this was, however, just the beginning...
