Comic: "The Pen"
Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 9:23PM Here I am, talking about my new comic-series. One issue every week, 6 pages every issue. I don't know when we'll begin drawing the series, but I can tell you that you'll probably see something before Christmas 2009. (I'm even thinking of a long-runnning storyline in December!) Since you're reading this, you're clearly interested in this and therefor I'll give you a little thing about the story in The Pen, and what the first couple of issues will be about!
Issue 1 & 2
If you look on the "Comic"-page, you can now download the first issue in script format. It's a PDF, and it's probably not very good written. But hey, I'm a newbie! I don't know these things very well yet, so hopefully I'll improve!
The first issue is about a group of terrorists taking over the Mayor's house. Then, a mysterious negotiator arrives... Since you can read this now, I won't tell you that much about it :)
The Second Issue (which I'll probably upload next week) is about a Superhero in an Identity Crisis. At the end, he gets his own costume and name as he is recruited by a mysterious organisation...
And that is it! The first 10 issues or so in The Pen will just be about settling the universe, the characters and so on. This goes on until there is a murder in the tenth issue! This murder is what begins our real story, in addition to the "Terrorist"-storyline that you're going to see a lot more of!
And that was all. I'll write something here next week! Tell me what you think of the idea and the first issues in the comment-section or on the discussion-boards! This is the one comic that you can help me a lot with, since not much is planned. I have extremely vauge overall storylines and I really don't know SQUAT about the characters! The Main Story in The Pen is two organisations battling to find a mysterious artifact. The organisation is called "The Pen", and they fight against "The Sword". In The Sword, it's more "cut-to-the-chase". The Pen is made of genius' and they are masters in both technology and plans.

I'd rather start with some action, than wait ten episodes.
Yes. That's exactly what I'm planning to do. There'll be LOTS of background, but everything will be told in these little action tales, kinda like one-shots of the main characters. When the murder happens, it will be BREATHTAKING! You will not be able to foresee the character I'm planning to kill off, and it will eventually spawn into something else entirely. I'll talk more about The Pen after a little while; it's one of my summer projects.
