Movies
I watched some good movies in the past few days. Firstly, Franklyn, the british movie that's been described as The Matrix meets Donnie Darko. I agree, but I'll throw in some Magnolia and Watchmen, and the mix is perfect!
It's been a long time since I saw a movie that caught my attention in such a way as Donnie Darko; being a nice little drama about people, where mysterious things occurs and nothing makes sense until the week after you're finished watching the movie; This is that move-experience again! So, short, I absolutely LOVED it! I'll be watching Franklyn many, many times. It was beautiful, mythic, cool and love-able. Just the movie I needed yesterday...
Then, onto the other movie I saw yesterday: Nick & Norah's Inifinite Playlist. I got one word: Terrific! It was about love, letting go, music, friends, comedy and life. Basically all the things that matter in the world. It was better than Juno, and it was SWEET AS HELL! I recommend it for EVERYONE! Then, one last question: Where's Fluffy?
Summer, Hottness and some more
I live in Norway. Right now, it's fucking hot here. It's way more hot than it should be. As I'm writing this, it's 27 degrees celsius in my room. TOO. FUCKING. HOT.
Tomorrow, I am watching Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaur in the world's biggest THX-certified 3-D cinema! I cannot fucking WAIT!
Movies I am DYING to see (aka Trailers)
These are current movies I am really DYING to see! Some of them are arriving in cinemas, others on DVD. Some of these are already released, so I'm just waiting to get a hold of them!
* (500) Days of Summer
Let's all admit it: It looks TOO FUCKING GREAT! Like an independent love-story about life. It looks like a feel-good love story of great calibre. I cannot WAIT!
* Daybreakers
Now, this looks like all Underworld tried to be, just better! Think Equilibrium mixed with Underworld and throw in a little Van Helsing. I have high hopes for this one; It will be GREAT!
* Inglourious Basterds
Quentin Tarantino's new WWII-action movie with Brad Pitt is bound to be cool! I'll leave the trailer out; you have to find it yourself!

Now, this one looks AWESOME! And we haven't got a trailer yet! I'll write something about this one later one day! Until then, keep looking!
* Cold Souls
The new movie with Paul Giamatti playing an extremely unhappy version of himself that gets his sole removed. But the fun doesn't begin until he want to get it back again: It turns out he's been a victim to soul-trafficking, and he goes on a weird journey to get it back. This does sound awesome, ey? You'll have to find the trailer yourself!
* The Box
Richard Kelly's new movie looks like a dream come true - The maker of Donnie Darko making a movie involving supernatural horror and sci-fi with a little fantasy! Is there something wrong with me, because I already LOVE the idea! Here's the trailer:
* The Surrogates
It looks fun, it looks good and it's action-mystery-sci-fi with Bruce Willis in the lead role. What's not to like? Hunt down that trailer for yourself...!
* Zombieland
It's the last movie on this list, and it's one I CAN'T WAIT to see! It looks like an action-version of Shaun of the Dead, and with Woody Harrelson as the main character, it HAS to be good!
And that is basically it! I'm currently writing a loong short-story in Norwegian, I'll translate it and post it here afterward. I'm also making some playlists in Spotify, which I'll share with you soon. Till then: Have fun!
